Today, Natsume Inc. announced new information regarding the PlayStation 4 and Switch ports of Harvest Moon: Light of Hope.

According to the press release, Harvest Moon Light of Hope Special Edition will launch sometime in May of this year for $39.99. Initially released late last year on PC to commemorate the Harvest Moon series' 20th anniversary, Light of Hope takes place in a small harbor town that has been left in shambles after a storm.

Gamers are tasked with assisting the residents in rebuilding the town and the lighthouse. Along the way, players will have the option to grow crops, raise livestock, gather materials to craft items, make new friends, as well as start a family. Additionally, Harvest Moon: Light of Hope Special Edition also includes new features not found in the original PC version.

Despite Natsume not elaborating on the exclusive features coming to Light of Hope Special Edition. The developer did confirm that it will reveal new details regarding the aforementioned features in the coming months this includes an official release date.
