Sega just made an exciting announcement for longtime Vocaloid fans at the Hatsune Miku "Magical Mirai 2019" event in Tokyo. Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA Mega Mix has been revealed for the Nintendo Switch as an exclusive and will launch for the West sometime in 2020.

Project DIVA Mega Mix's Rhythm game modes (primarily Arcade Mode) will features the traditional button controls. There's also a new game mode that takes advantage of the Switch's unique controls, which is called Joy-Con mode. Players wave the Joy-Cons along with the beat of the music.

In addition fan-favorite songs like "Senbonzakura" and over 100 others have been redone with anime-style graphics. There will also be brand new Project DIVA songs making their debut in Mega Mix.

The most recent Hatsune Miku title, Hatsune Miku VR, released just this June for Oculus Rift, complete with a launch trailer showing off its gameplay. The Oculus Rift version also featured Snow Miku’s costume and a negi glowstick (for meme purposes of course).

Originally launched on Steam in March 2018, Hatsune Miku VR is a rhythm game featuring 19 songs from the most popular Vocaloid composers, multiple stages, and different outfits to dress up Hatsune Miku.
