Degica Games and Crypton Future Media announced that they will be teaming up to release Hatsune Miku VR on Steam VR in early 2018.

Hatsune Miku VR brings the fan favorite vocaloid, Hatsune Miku, to players to perform concerts for them, but more importantly have the rhythm game be played using VR controls. Upon release, Hatsune Miku VR will have eight songs and two difficulty option for players to chose what type of rhythm experience they wish to have.

Additionally, Hatsune Miku VR on Steam VR will support HTC Vive and the Oculus Rift headsets. Furthermore, the game will support English, Japanese, Chinese, and more languages for a full worldwide release.

Currently, Hatsune Miku: VR Future Live is available for PlayStation VR, but it's not clear if the two will share similar songs or features. From the look of the first screenshots, it seems like the Steam VR version of Hatsune Miku VR will support a score tracker so it's possible that there will be leaderboard support in the future. We will reach out to Degica for further information.

More news, including a release date, for Hatsune Miku VR, will release soon, in the meantime enjoy the first screenshots provided by the publisher:
