Coming from the network that has been home to acclaimed series like The Sopranos and Game of Thrones, HBO's recent drama series Succession quickly became one of the network's breakout hits with its debut last year. With its second season now airing, fans have once again become engrossed in its unique blend of family drama, business, and humor, with one fan making quite a remake of its theme music in the most unusual way possible.Over on Twitter, the least likely mashup imaginable -- HBO's Succession and Mario Paint -- made its way to the internet by way of Adam Catino, who remade the show's signature opening credits music in the Mario-themed music software. You can listen to it below, or check it out on Soundcloud:

And just in case you want to compare the two, you can check out the actual theme music from the show itself, courtesy of HBO (or in case you want to hear which one is subjectively better):

While I have yet to actually watch the show for myself just yet, given its critical acclaim and numerous award nominations--including a win at this year's Emmy Awards for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series--the show will definitely be getting a bump up in my queue to watch in the near future. Of course, when I do eventually watch it, I'm definitely going to have the Mario Paint version of the theme song stuck in my head from now on.
