Get ready to feel even more hyped up for HBO's The Last of Us with this stunning concept poster for the show.

If you're not excited for HBO's The Last of Us by this stage, then I'm not sure where you have been. Scattered all across social media we have been inundated with a behind the scenes look at what's happening in the show and let me tell you, there are some cool things going on.

For instance, we have already seen what Jackson will look like when the HBO series lands on our TV's and also a sneak peek at the Cordyceps fungus as it seeps across buildings. Not to mention actually witnessing Joel, Ellie and Tess out and about on set.

However, to turn that anticipation up a notch, check out this amazing concept art poster by one of The Last of Us' most prolific artists, David.

If you haven't heard of David before, well, you've been missing out on some of the best gaming artwork around. With incredible pieces that include Ellie and Abby’s cycle of violence, fan art of Joel and Ellie reimaged with the faces of Bella Ramsey and Pedro Pascal, and a beautiful poster of the game’s characters in the style of Ellie’s journal, David has become one of the most recognized and appreciated Last of Us artists around.

This time, David comes in with his own unique take on HBO's The Last of Us that includes a haunting and stark poster for the series. As you can see from the image, the huge red and imposing lettering hits hard followed by a birds-eye view completed in three different stages.

From the bottom, we see Joel and Ellie walking the road and then in the middle them both on horseback and finally, at the top, Ellie looks to be standing out on her own with a bow and arrow in hand.

It's such a simple yet hard-hitting concept poster but here's hoping the HBO team do just as good of a job as David has done here. Scratch that - just hire David, HBO!
