November 10, 2021

New images from HBO’s The Last of Us shows how things will heat up with the introduction of the military.

If you’re a die-hard fan of all things regarding HBO’s The Last of Us and need to know all the nitty-gritty details, you’ve come to the right place.

Things have really kicked up a notch in the production of the show and recently, we even got a glimpse of what Jackson would look like with stunning images of the location used in Canmore, Alberta. Before that, we saw Pedro Pascal (Joel), Bella Ramsey (Ellie) and Anna Torv (Tess) running around a post-apocalyptic town that also later showcased the first images of what the Cordyceps fungus would look like in the HBO show.

Now fans get a taste of what’s to come in some new images of the FEDRA’s presence in the show that include a sneak peek at the set and the FEDRA seal.

Watch out, FEDRA’s about

The Federal Disaster Response Agency (F.E.D.R.A. or FEDRA) is an antagonistic background faction featured in The Last of Us and also mentioned in The Last of Us Part 2.

Following the outbreak of Cordyceps brain infection in September 2013, FEDRA replaced the United States government as the nation’s leading authority and took control of the military with dire consequences, often using extreme measures to keep citizens escaping the city and also to keep them in line however they saw fit.

As you can see from the images supplied by The Last of Us Status and The Last of Us Updates, new pictures show off the streets of Calgary (Boston QZ in the game) that will be occupied by FEDRA and also a very finely crafted FEDRA seal that goes to show how much detail the designers are putting into this series.

The FEDRA presence will most likely be showcased in the first episodes of the HBO TV show and if this is anything to go by, we are in for a treat. Except much more over the coming months as development moves along.

Although we don’t have a firm release date for HBO’s The Last of Us, we do know that it should showcase next year at some stage.
