Earlier this month Blizzard revealed a brand new expansion for Hearthstone titled Kobolds & Catacombs, and while we got our first look then, we had no idea when it would be available to players. Well, today, that all changes. The mega-developer behind the popular card game has officially revealed that the expansion is set to hit in a little over a week, on December 7, 2017.

As previously revealed, players will receive three Kobolds & Catacombs packs, as well as a Legendary Weapon pack completely free of charge once they log in to the game after its release. In addition to that, players can also pre-purchase 50 packs for the low low price (sarcasm) of $49.99. As a bonus, you'll also receive the For the Hoard! card.

The game's last expansion, which was titled Knights of the Frozen Throne, added a 135 new, ice-themed, cards to the game on August 10, 2017.

Hearthstone was originally released on March 11, 2014, and is available on Windows PC, macOS, iOS, and Android devices. While it hasn't been officially announced, the game's Senior Game Designer said in an interview that gamers shouldn't rule out a Nintendo Switch version of the game which, personally, I would love.
