During a live Q&A stream, Hearthstone game designer Ben Brode revealed that the new Hearthstone expansion will indeed arrive in August.

The official reveal for the next expansion will take place at the HCT Spring Championship next week on July 6, 2017 at 7:00 PM PDT.

Brode also confirmed that Missions will be coming to this expansion. Missions are similar to the Adventure expansions, and will tell the story of a given expansion. These will be included in the August expansion and all future Hearthstone releases. Missions will be free updates that come alongside full expansions, to let players who don't necessarily buy packs join in with the content as well.

Also confirmed for Hearthstone patch 8.4 was that Vicious Fledgling will now be showing up 50% less in Arena drafts with the new patch. The 3/3 minion was becoming too over powered, and therefore was dominating Arena decks whenever it showed up.

Hearthstone has shown no signs of slowing down as it has recently passed over 70 million active players. It is currently available on iOS, Android, and PC.
