Earlier this week, England-based developer Ninja Theory -- the notable makers of DmC: Devil May Cry, Enslaved: Odyssey to the West, and Heavenly Sword -- announced that its highly-anticipated game Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is coming to PS4 and PC on August 8th.

At the time of its release date announcement, Ninja Theory also divulged that if you pre-order the game on PS4 (the PC has a different pre-order bonus) you will receive an on-the-house PS4 dynamic theme. Today, it revealed that theme.

As you can see in the video at the bottom of the article, the theme depicts the iconic and beautiful and ghastly burning tree scene from the game (the same image as the header image). The theme also comes with its own background music that is littered with the occasional, unnerving, whispers that Senua hear's inside her head in the game. Unfortunately, the theme doesn't contain its own specific and unique tab images, nor a unique sound as you navigate the interface like some other themes do.

For those that don't know: Hellblade is a game that hones in on the three self-described principles of a Ninja Theory game: ninja-class combat, strong character stories, and a unique art vision. The story is based on both Celtic mythology and Norse mythology, and follows the personal journey of Senua as she embarks through a hellish world made up of Senua's psychotic manifestations of her own reality and mind.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will cost $29.99 USD when it launches on the above mentioned platforms. Below, you can check out the new video showcasing the theme. Additionally, you can check out previous posts that detail Senua (the protagonist) and that dive deeper into the game's gameplay and nitty-gritty details.
