No Man’s Sky may have gone gold last month and someone may have already reached the centre of the universe, but with just days to go until the game’s long-awaited release, Hello Games are still hard at work developing the game.
Last night Sean Murray tweeted that Hello Games have finished work on the first update for No Man’s Sky, adding “new features, balancing and content.”

Following a rocky week uncertainties regarding the games length and someone spending $1300 to play and “complete” the game early, this tweet has somewhat subsided some worries from fans on the game’s official subreddit.
Whether or not this is the game’s day one patch is uncertain, but a month’s worth of work is sure to fix a lot of the problems the game may have.
No Man’s Sky launches on the PS4 August 9 in the United States and North America with the UK and Europe coming August 10. The PC release sits three days behind, however, with the launch due on August 12.
