Help Tiny Tina Stop The World "From Going Boom Boom" in Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep

June 21, 2013

Roll for initiative!

In what seems to be a similar “What If?” scenario/spin-off to inFamous‘s Festival of Blood DLC and Far Cry 3‘s Blood Dragon DLC, Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon KeepBorderlands 2 last Season Pass DLC–is here, along with five minutes of trailer footage, which you can view below.

(Caution: Spoiler dropped early in trailer).

While this isn’t standalone DLC like the games I mentioned above, this does have a whacky premise, with Tiny Tina playing an old school pen & paper Dungeons & Dragons type of game with our favorite vault hunters. This game within a game will involve playing inside Tina’s version of Pandora, a sword & sorcery fantasy adventure that Tina makes up as you go along.

According to Polygon, Gearbox Software’s writer Anthony Burch also mentioned an insane arsenal of weapons, saying:

“We have guns that shoot exploding swords. We’ve got these grenade modes that are reworked into being magic spells. There are these new grenades that wizards drop that are fire balls, magic missiles and lightning blots.”

Borderlands 2: Tiny Tina’s Assault on Dragon Keep will be available next week on June 25th, and available for free via the Borderlands 2 Season Pass, for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network Store, or 800 Microsoft Points on Xbox Live.
