Henry Cavill Confirms Pre-Production for The Witcher Season 2 Begins Soon
Toss a coin to your Witcher.
Season 1 of The Witcher has been out for less than a month but that isn’t stopping production of Season 2 to come any less sooner. Henry Cavill, the actor who plays Geralt of Rivia went to his official Instagram posting a video thanking fans for the love behind the show and, most importantly, sharing that pre-production of the next season is close to underway. A few days ago The Witcher showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich tweeted about preparing for Season 2 of the show as well, but hearing it from Geralt himself makes it feel more real and exciting for fans of the show.
The reception behind The Witcher was primarily positive despite some changes made from the books in which the show is based on. The show’s success led to the highest player count for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt ever on Steam, an official podcast for the show, and hell, even the voice of Geralt from CDProjekt Red’s Witcher series loves the show. It really seems like a win across the board for Witcher fans everywhere.
Despite that, there is still no confirmation as to when Season 2 of The Witcher will release so saddle up because we are going to be waiting for a while. In case you have yet to see the show, you can watch The Witcher right now exclusively on Netflix.
