Henry Cavill obviously knows his stuff when playing the part of Geralt in The Witcher Season 2.

Get ready to explore the story of Netflix's The Witcher again as Season Two of the incredible fantasy show based on the book series by Andrzej Sapkowski, and the subsequent video games of the same name is just around the corner.

As fans enter the world that's overloaded with monsters, teeming with magic and complex characters, Freya Allan who plays Ciri gives a small insight into what it's like to share the stage with The White Wolf himself, and how his Witcher knowledge knows no bounds.

In an interview by

" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener nofollow">Fortress of Solitude, host Sergio Pereira chats to The Witcher’s Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan and Lauren Schmidt Hissrich about Season Two. As fans learn that Hissrich's favourite song from Season 2 is a song called 'Burn' and that it could be just as popular as the 'Toss a coin to your Witcher' earworm, we also get to know how dedicated Henry Cavill is about the authenticity of Geralt.

When asked by Pereira who out of all the cast members is the best Witcher player, both Anya Chalotra and Freya Allan quickly replied "Henry". Allan went on to express that Cavill is "A total nerd" and that he's like "a Witcher bible. We'd be doing a scene and he'd be like: 'We should use this line from page 253 of Blood of Elves'"

Of course, this is no real surprise as we know that Cavill loved the game and also read all of the books in preparation for his role as Geralt but it's certainly fantastic to see how devoted he is in making sure that Netflix The Witcher is staying as true as possible to the book series.

The Witcher Season 2 will be released via Netflix on December 17, 2021
