Her Majesty’s SPIFFING Takes British Colonization to the Stars with New Trailer

on December 4, 2016 10:27 AM

The very, very British game Her Majesty’s SPIFFING just announced a release date with a launch trailer. Developer BillyGoat Entertainment are dropping their humorous adventure game on December 7th for both PC and Xbox One. The price has only been given in pounds (which is very appropriate) and retails for £14.99 (about $19 USD).

The wacky concept of this one is that the Queen of England has gotten fed up with the declining state of the world and has taken to the stars in order to find a new home to colonize. From the Big Ben space station (seriously) you take on the role of Astronauts searching the cosmos. You’ll pick up inventory items, solve puzzles, drive land-rovers all while enjoying some tea. Will you find the Empire’s new digs?

With this strange announcement comes more confusion of if the devs and publishers knew that the PlayStation Experience was happening this weekend but hey, here’s some news that isn’t related to the PS4. I must admit that my fondness for British humour has me keeping an eye on this ‘spiffy’ game. Speaking of which, if you were curious, S.P.I.F.F.I.N.G. stands for Special Planetary Investigavtive Force For Inhabiting New Galaxies.
