Netflix has slowly been pushing itself into the anime world with roughly 209 million paid memberships worldwide. This, therefore, has lead them to include more anime on the platform for viewers to enjoy.

It’s always difficult to name just one or two animes as the best due to different genres and varying tastes among people. However, there are a few that you will hear some talk about more than others. One of which is Hunter X Hunter.

HUNTER X HUNTER

Hunter X Hunter showcases the story of a young boy, Gon, who sets out to become a Hunter, like his father, so that he may be able to meet him. He then meets a group of friends with who he will share adventures, as well as learn new things about life in general. This type of anime keeps you hooked as it pulls you into the story of other characters deeper and not just Gon’s.

DEMON SLAYER

Demon Slayer promises to pack a punch with the amount of action that’s included. As a fan-favorite among the anime community, Netflix did a wonderful job by adding this to the platform. Although it is action-packed, they do not take away from all the beautiful visuals and animation in this anime. The story follows Tanjiro Kamada who becomes a demon slayer after his family is killed and his sister, Nezuko, is turned into a demon.

DEATH NOTE

Death Note is a classic anime for thriller fans to watch and enjoy. This anime showcases Light Yagami, a high schooler who inherits a peculiar notebook that lets him kill anyone whose name he writes in the book. The series poses intense questions about morality, justice, and good vs evil.

BEASTARS

Beastars is a bit different compared to the rest of the anime on this list as it surrounds the world of animals. It showcases the imbalance of power between carnivores and herbivores as they try to live in unity at their school. The story is based around carnivore, Legoshi, a wolf who struggles as his senses enhance due to a herbivore’s scent.

ATTACK ON TITAN

If you are familiar with anime, there is a good chance you have heard of Attack On Titan, even if you haven’t watched it. The anime highlights a post-apocalyptic world where humanity is pitted in a struggle against a race of cannibalistic humanoid giants known as Titans. Eren Yeager, a teen raised in one of the last enduring cities on Earth, join the military’s Survey Corps as a way of defending his homeland and avenging his family.

Unfortunately, these animes may not be on Netflix for too long as shows tend to come and go so best to get in there quick to catch up on some quality series’. Depending on where your Netflix is located in the world, you may not be lucky to watch them but most are widely available.
