Elden Ring fans are wondering which is the toughest boss in the game, and there are quite a few candidates fighting for the top spot.

From Software's game design is impeccable, and the sheer amount of effort the developer puts into the title is evident from the game's massive yet engaging world, and the wide variety of bosses that are present. While these bosses give quite a nightmare to players out there, it can't be denied that their design rivals none.

A steep difficulty level is pretty much synonymous with Souls games, and Elden Ring is no exception as well. The game is absolutely brutal at times, and even though you might have the best gear and have the perfect attributes, you could still easily get obliterated by the bosses.

Here is Which Is The Toughest Boss In Elden Ring

While there are many bosses in the game which are very hard to take down, when it comes to the toughest of the lot, there are three contenders for the top spot. First up, we have Starscourge Radahn. This shouldn't come as a surprise to people out there, as anybody who has taken on this beast, knows what we are talking about. The fact that even some Souls veterans consider this almost broken speaks volumes about its difficulty level. While players get the help of NPCs in this fight, it still hardly makes a significant enough difference and still very much relies on your skill to probably read his attacks, which is extremely difficult.

While Radahn is a tough nut to crack, the next boss is just straight-up infuriating. It is none other than the Valiant Gargoyles, which you encounter in Nokron City, the place unlocked after taking down General Radahn. Now don't get us wrong, the Gargoyles are really well designed and it's an amazing fight. However, the entire encounter is ruined by one attack of the enemy, and that is poison. Without it, it could have been one of the best fights in the game, but the poison attack simply makes it annoying and very hard to take down. Players can get poisoned which will whittle down their HP rapidly, and that takes the entire fun out of it.

This one is something that everyone would agree with, even if you don't consider the previous two as tough. Malenia, Blade of Miquella, is a beautifully designed boss fight, which is not only aesthetically appealing too, but its movesets are also worthy of praise. However, when it comes to actually taking down the boss, it is very hard given that it can heal itself. The healing part is what makes it so hard since watching all your hard work go to vain is just annoying. If this fight probably didn't have the healing part, it would've still made it to our toughest boss list, that's how difficult it is. However, with healing, it does make it worse to a significant extent.
