Here at DualShockers we celebrate the first anniversary of PlayStation 4 by writing articles, but how do the developers of two of Sony’s most celebrated first party studios wish their console happy birthday? Apparently with coolies, cupcakes and lovely golden keychains.

Naughty Dog Game Developer James Cooper lets us know what went down at the studio that is currently developing Uncharted 4: a Thief’s End.

Sony Santa Monica had a party too, as you can see below:

You didn’t know this about the 1yr anniversary of the #PS4 A video posted by Santa Monica Studio (@santamonicastudio) on

The beautiful Keychain appears at the house of God of War too, as shown by Animation Director Bruno Velazquez.

Game Director Cory Barlog is a little more spicy in his celebration:

Speaking of Cory Barlog, a few days ago he let slip interesting words about the game he’s directing:

Here’s the video that is apparently being topped:

Unfortunately he also mentioned that we might have to wait quite a while to see what he’s working on. Of course there’s the possibility that he might be joking or keeping his cards close to his chest, but this is what he said.

We’ll close this chain fire of celebratory sweets, birthday wishes (and a bit of banter) with another directly from Sony Computer Entertainment, featuring a very appropriate blue cupcake. Happy Birthday, PS4!
