There have been talks of a PC version of Reverge Labs' well received 2D fighter Skullgirls since its release last year. The developer has issued a small update regarding the status of a PC port via a post on the game's official website. Publisher Autumn Games is currently finalizing a contract with Marvelous AQL (developer of Soul Sacrifice) to fund and publish a PC version of Skullgirls. Work on this version of the game is set to commence within the next few weeks.

The PC version of Skullgirls will contain expanded online multiplayer features compared to the console version. One of these features will be online lobbies, a feature sorely missed in the console version of the game. Development of the PC version of the game is expected to take around four months, and a public beta test of the game is planned.

The post promises more details as work on the port begins.
