A brand new update to Sucker punch's Ghost of Tsushima adds Aloy's armour from Horizon Forbidden West and here's how you can get your hands on it.

Horizon Forbidden West is just around the corner and just in case you needed to be even more excited for its impending release, Sucker punch has gone and threw in a secret Aloy surprise within the stunning locations of Ghost of Tsushima.

In a brand new patch that released on February 8 for Ghost of Tsushima, a new quest has arisen in which players get to grips with a puzzle that when solved, offers them a new armour set inspired by Horizon Forbidden West's, Aloy.

Here's where to find the Forbidden Shrine and receive the Horizon Forbidden West Armor

Firstly, make sure you have the new Patch 2.15 installed, this will usually pop up as soon as you turn on your console, and also the Iki Island expansion.

Whilst looking at your Iki Island map, glance towards the northernmost tip of the land, directly above Sly Hunter’s Forest. This is where you'll see a landmark called the 'Forbidden Shrine'.

You may have to take out a group of enemies in close proximity here first but once you've done so, you'll have some peace to take your time. You'll notice a scroll laying at the foot of the statue that reads "The old world is gone. Though life is never-ending. Focus your spirit. Take up the Archer's mantle. A Seeker must aim for truth."

From here, dress yourself in Tadayori's armour or his straw hat (if you haven't done so already, this specific outfit can be obtained by completing the Mythic Tale, “The Legend of Tadayori”)

By pressing the touchpad, you'll activate Jin's hearing mode and see that the statue has now red spots you need to shoot with your arrows. Once you have done that, the spots will turn blue and that's the quest complete. A cut scene will appear with Jin then wearing the Horizon Forbidden West-inspired armour.
