Here’s What PS4 Exclusive Bloodborne’s Frankly Silly Pre-Order Bonus Looks Like

on November 5, 2014 1:24 PM

Publishers often stretch their imagination to devise new incentives to push us to pre-order games, and with Bloodborne Sony Computer Entertainment came up with a novel idea. A skin for the ghastly messengers that will carry notes between players.

I bet people dropped whatever they were doing and sprinted to pre-order the game as soon as they heard that.

Anyway, if you really want to see what the alternate messengers skin will look like, GameStop actually published some artwork showcasing it. You can check it out below, compared with the artwork for the default messengers (at the bottom of the post).

I’m guessing that this may very well win the prize for the most pointless pre-order bonus ever. Mind you, from what I’ve seen so far, Bloodborne is well worth it regardless of any gimmick like this, so… Maybe this is actually a better solution, as pre-order bonuses (especially when they’re retailer exclusive) are rather silly to begin with.
