After yesterday's reveal at The Game Awards, Death Stranding Director Hideo Kojima took to Twitter as he usually does,  to talk about the game's themes and the trailer itself.First of all, Kojima-san mentioned that the theme is about the strand that humanity will loose in the near future, with story, characters and gameplay all being connected to that theme.

Secondly, he also hinted at the game development bond with the folks at Sony Interactive Entertainment, that spans development itself, public relations, and the casting team.

Kojima-san also talked about the trailer itself, explaining that there are various hints and misleading elements hidden in the video, which certainly seems to be his usual style.

Yesterday, we learned that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Doctor Strange Actor Mads Mikkelsen will star in the game, and Director Guillermo Del Toro (who is a long-standing friend of Kojima-san) also made an appearance in the trailer, even if his participation was not mentioned by name in the ending credits.

This  isn’t the last we see or hear about the game in the near-term, as Hideo Kojima will host a dedicated panel at PlayStation Experience on Saturday. Of course, you'll be able to read all about it here on DualShockers.
