The official Game Awards Twitter revealed that both Guillermo Del Toro and Hideo Kojima will be presenters at this year's award show.

Seeing as Del Toro and Kojima are working very closely on Death Stranding alongside one another, it's almost impossible not to speculate that we may be shown something new at the show. Considering Kojima revealed Death Stranding at PlayStation's E3 conference in 2016, and a second trailer was shown later that year at The Game Awards. Having Geoff Keighley's relationship with Kojima in mind, it's hard to imagine we won't get some new details or a trailer for the game at the awards show. It'll also be cool to see which awards the two will get to present at the actual show.

Back in June, Sony's very own Shawn Layden said that "we shouldn't have to wait too long to get our first tease of the title in action." Again, with all this considered it's hard not to get a little excited about the prospect of the game potentially being shown in action later this week.

Death Stranding is the first game coming from Kojima Productions, the title is being published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and will be available exclusively on PS4.
