According to his Twitter feed, today legendary Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima took a trip to Osaka to visit Platinum Games, where he had a meeting with Game Director Hideki Kamiya and President Tatsuya Minami.

The developers also had dinner, and while no further details were shared, it's not too likely that Kojima-san went all the way to Osaka just to enjoy sushi with old friends. This gives hope for a new collaboration between Platinum Games and Kojima Productions, which could very well be for a sequel to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

Interestingly enough, we also learn that Kamiya-san met with Microsoft Studios Creative Director Ken Lobb today, even if we don't know if the two meetings were in any way connected.

Of course we'll have to wait for an official announcement in order to know something more about the subject of the meetings, but Kojima-san promised to share more in the next episode of the Kojima Station broadcast.

Below you can see a gallery of pictures of the meeting shared by Kojima-san, Kamiya-san and Lobb.
