Hitman 3 Next Location Will Be Announced Today, It’s Likely an Asian City
Agent 47 will probably pay a visit to Eastern Asia in the third location of Hitman 3.
Hitman 3 is the first of the many anticipated titles of 2021 to launch for both 8th-gen and 9th-gen consoles of Sony and Microsoft. IO Interactive is hard at work the deliver the last iteration of Hitman‘s The World of Assassination trilogy just in time. The trilogy’s common thread is Agent 47’s travel across the world to various countries and fulfilling his assassination contracts. Hitman 3‘s opening will take place in one of Dubai’s skyscrapers, and then Agent 47 will take a trip to Dartmoor in Britain. Now, it seems his third destination will be somewhere in Eastern Asia as the Chinese neon signs reveal in the YouTube image of the upcoming trailer.
The first two entries of the trilogy had six locations and Hitman 3 is expected to at least hit that milestone as well, though we surely expect more travels around the world.
Not to mention that all locations and content for Hitman 3 will be available in Hitman VR as well, though we still need more details about the VR experience of the game, and how it feels to play as Agent 47 while seeing everything through his eyes in a first-person view.
Hitman 3 will be a conclusion to the rebooted trilogy that started in 2016. After this, the developers will likely shift their focus on the studio’s recently announced Project 007. So, we might not get a Hitman game for a while after Hitman 3. IO Interactive will probably use this time to conceptualize the next stage for the Hitman franchise, and who knows? Maybe they already started the pre-production for the next adventure of Agent 47.
