Hitman: Absolution Gets a Contracts Mode

Square Enix has announced a new online mode called Contracts for its upcoming game, Hitman: Absolution.

Contracts mode has players create and share custom hit challenges to be completed in the game. Players can choose level, targets, weapons, and rules for completing the challenge that can put a focus on time, style, or witnesses. Instead of using an editor to create contracts, players will play through a Contract to create it and the mode is asynchronous, which means players can complete against friends at any time.

Hitman: Absolution will also ship with several Contracts already created and designed by some of the best hitmen at IO Interactive. Players will receive contract dollars based on their performance in a Contract. More complex setups can be created by choosing from more weapons, disguises, upgrades, and techniques that are earned through playing the story mode or by spending contract dollars.

Those looking to decide who is the best assassin out of their friends will want to check out Hitman: Absolution when it stealthily sneaks on to shelves.
