Hitman Aiming for a Second and Third Season but Nothing Is Finalized Yet

IO Interactive has revealed in a rather vague tweet that they are planning to release three seasons of Hitman, despite the release of a second season not yet confirmed.

A fan on Twitter tweeted at the official Hitman Twitter account asking if IO has any plans for a second season, the developer replied:

Right now the developer is only halfway through Hitman’s first season, with three more episodes scheduled to release before the end of 2016. The tweets suggests that both season two and three are still very much in the early stages of development, most like still being planned out rather than being actively build in-engine.

Hitman’s next episode, Bangkok, releases next Tuesday, August 16. A disc release containing all seven episodes is also planned to be released sometime early next year.
