Today developer (and now publisher) IO Interactive revealed the first details about the upcoming August Update for its game Hitman.

First off, on August 11th, ten new Featured Contracts will hit the game. IO Interactive will pick its favorite from a large pool of submitted, shared, or popular contracts. On the same day, a new Challenge Pack titled The Art of Revenge will be released, which will add five new challenges to the Hokkaido episode.

In addition to that, later this month, player-curated Featured Contracts will hit the game, which will act similarly to the previously mentioned event, however instead of IO Interactive choosing the contracts, one of the players will. The first curator will be a Brazilian Twitch streamer named Mendietinha.

Last month the game received its July Update, which fixed and changed a number of different features within the game, as well as added the game's last Elusive Target: The Entertainer. Back in June it was announced that the game's first episode would be available for free on all platforms.

Hitman is an episodic game series, with its first episode being released on March 11th, 2016. The game is available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows PC, Linux, and macOS.
