If you’ve been intrigued by HITMAN and have been looking to pick it up for consoles, then it may be wise to hold off for another month. Today, developer IO Interactive announced that they have partnered with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment to bring a new edition of the game to retail stores: the Definitive Edition.
Of course, just like the Game of the Year Edition released last year, this new version will include all of the content and updates previously released for the game, including the Patient Zero campaign, the Summer Bonus Episode, the Blood Money Requiem Pack, three Escalation contracts, and the game’s previously released costumes. What’s different, however, is that players will also receive new costumes based on three different IO Interactive franchises: Kane and Lynch, Freedom Fighters, and Mini Ninja.
HITMAN Definitive Edition is set to be available on May 18, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Just like the normal version of the game, this version will, of course, include support for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.
