Back in November, the recently-independent IO Interactive released Hitman: Game of the Year Edition for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. This version of the game bundles everything from the games first season alongside some brand new gameplay content and graphical enhancements. Today, Game Director Jacob Mikkelsen and Associate Game Director Eskil Mohl released a new in-depth video where they explain what exactly all of these changes are.

Hitman: Game of the Year Edition came with a graphical update that improved the general lighting and colors in the game. They then go on to confirm that Hitman: Game of the Year Edition runs at native 4k, and players can also enable a high frame-rate mode to play the game in 60fps.

On the content side of things, this version of the game comes with a new campaign named Patient Zero, in which players must attempt to stop a virus from spreading by visiting various locations from the game's first season. Hitman: Game of the Year Edition also includes three new Escalation Contracts, three new outfits, and three new weapons. In the video, Jakub and Eskil delve into the details of the new campaign and content for players.

You can watch the new video below. Hitman: Game of the Year Edition is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and is currently discounted to $39.56 on Steam due to the Winter Sale.
