HITMAN Game of the Year Edition Announced; Includes New Story Missions and More
HITMAN Game of the Year Edition is set to include all the content from Season 1, a brand new campaign, new items, and more.
After teasing earlier this month that there would be a major announcement today, independent developer io Interactive officially revealed the Game of the Year Edition for its episodic third-person stealth game HITMAN.
First and foremost, as expected the game includes all content from Season 1, which comes with all seven locations, bonus missions, contracts, and challenges.
In addition to that, players will also receive access to a brand new campaign called Patient Zero, which tasks them with the goal of stopping a virus from spreading. These new missions will see Agent 47 return to some of the locations found in the main story.
Finally, players will also have some new items at their disposal, including a clown suit, raven suit, and cowboy suit, as well as a new bat, rifle, and pistol. You’ll also be able to get new Escalation Contracts for each of the new items.
HITMAN Game of the Year Edition is set to be officially released on November 7, 2017, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC for $59.99. Players who already own all of the original locations will be able to upgrade to the Game of the Year Edition for $19.99 on digital stores.
A new update will also be coming on the same day to all players. While all the details about this update have not yet been revealed, it will include improvements to the UI and lighting, new contracts, and an Elusive Target Unlock, as well as Xbox One X and Tobii Eye Tracking support.
