Hitman Holiday Hoarders Free DLC Announced; Coming December 13th

Today, developer IO Interactive announced that a new -- and free -- holiday-themed DLC is coming to Hitman called: Holiday Hoarders. The DLC is set to arrive on December 13th on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.

The new content is said to take place in a festive Paris, which has been overhauled with Christmas trees, snow, decorations, and of course, presents. The following overview was provided:

The 'Holiday Hoarders' mission gives a festive feeling to the existing Paris location with snow, decorations and even presents, which have been scattered all around the palace. Unfortunately, not everyone in attendance at the fashion show is there to spread festive joy. Two thieves have gained entrance to the fashion show event and are stealing the presents. As Agent 47, it's your job to stop them, for good. If you are able to get to the presents first, feel free to open them and use whatever you find inside to help eliminate these two sticky bandits...

Additionally, the new mission will add new holiday-specific challenges that offer up an additional reward.

Holiday Hoarders is set to be added to the game as part of the December Update, which arrives December 13th. As always, expect a period of short maintenance while the updates rolls out. Specific details regarding the release time and release notes will be posted on the game's official blog closer to the release date. Further, the new Holiday Hoarders mission will not replace the existing Showstopper mission: players will be able to chose whatever version of Paris they want to play.

The DLC will be released in support of the World Cancer Research fund, and will ask players to donate whatever they can or want via www.wcrf-uk.org/hitman. It's important to note: said donation is not required to gain access to any of the content. It's all there for free, no matter what you decide to do.
