One of the most notable elements of 2016's Hitman was the fact that the game took players on a globe-trotting adventure through numerous countries, and now with summer in full swing, developer IO Interactive is offering players a free (virtual) trip to Marrakesh to enjoy.

Developer IO Interactive announced that the Marrakesh map -- which is the third episode of the 2016 reboot -- will be available as a free download for players starting tomorrow, July 17th, as part of a Summer Pack for the game.

Naturally, this gives players a chance to catch up on some of the previous content for the game that they might have missed, and especially when it comes for free. Of course, now might be a good time to catch up on the previous game in the series anyway, with the upcoming Hitman 2 set to release this coming November for consoles and PC.

Hitman is available now for PS4, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and Linux. For a closer look at what to expect from its upcoming sequel, you can check out our recent hands-on preview of the game from E3 2018.
