Hogwarts Legacy 2022 Release Confirmed Amidst Delay Rumors

A rumor had been making rounds lately stating that the game is having development issues and could get delayed until next year. This was quite disappointing news for many fans out there, but it seems like that is not the case.

Earlier today, Warner Media CEO Jason Kilar shared details about 2021 results on his Twitter account. While speaking about their future plans, he adds that “This mission, this strategy continues in ‘22 with a sense of urgency: launching HBO Max in many more countries this quarter and the balance of the year, launching CNN+, delivering of a full slate of highly anticipated games.”

Now with that caption, we see both Gotham Knights and Hogwarts Legacy in the picture, which confirm once again that we will indeed be getting the game in 2022. The next State of Play should be arriving in February if leaks are to be believed, and if it does arrive, we might as well be seeing Hogwarts Legacy in that.
