The official Twitter account for WB Games Support recently responded to a number of community questions about Hogwarts Legacy, revealing that the game will feature four save slots for different characters. This means players will be able to have 4 different playthroughs with different characters at the same time.

Other than that, the support team also detailed the manual and automatic save systems. For each character, you will get five autosave slots as well as ten slots for manual saves. This is a handy feature as players may want to save before key events in order to experience both sides of a decision, as is common in role-playing games. The additional save slots are useful for players who play on the same console.

When a user asked if they would be able to carry over their progress from PlayStation to PC, the support team responded that players can only sync their accounts across multiple platforms to receive rewards, but saves cannot be moved. This means you can't carry over your progress or character from console to PC or vice versa, but it remains unknown whether the same scenario would be true between different consoles like PlayStation and Xbox, or different generations, like PS4 and PS5.

Hogwarts Legacy will launch on February 10 this year. Those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive 3 days of early access to the game, along with some exclusive in-game items that will only serve as cosmetics. That being said, the game will feature some PlayStation-exclusive content. It's worth noting that the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch versions of the game will be released at a later date in 2023.

Recently, Avalanche Software revealed the official PC system requirements for Hogwarts Legacy, which confirm the game needs a powerful PC for the highest quality, 60 frames-per-second experience. That being said, the game will feature 60 FPS mode on the current-gen consoles and the performance gap between PCs and consoles remains unknown.
