Today, Sega released a new commercial of its upcoming Yakuza-meets-Fist of the North Star adventure game Hokuto Ga Gotoku.
The commercial shows Kenshiro in action as he snuffs the usual ugly goons, and actually hides (at least for those who don’t know Japanese) a recruitment message for a very special set of roles.
Fans residing in Japan who want to contribute to the game can go to the local DAM Karaoke and register. What Sega is looking for are their death cries and groans. Those will the best ability to moan in pain will be included in the game, and credited with the nickname they use at DAM.
The initiative will run from December 18th to January 14th.
You can check out the commercial below. If you want to see more you can also take a look at the beautiful cover art designed by Tetsuo Hara himself, and enjoy some recent screenshots, an epic trailer showing many of the game’s features in action, and some gameplay from Tokyo Game Show.
Hokuto Ga Gotoku will launchin Japan on February 22nd, 2018, exclusively for PS4. A western release has not been announced for the moment.
