Hololive EN Kimono New Outfits Revealed in Relay Streams

Check out the new kimono outfits from HololiveEN Gen 2

January 15, 2022

Hololive organized the weekend of January 15 to 16 special relay streams where Hololive EN Gen 2 members Tsukumo Sana, Ceres Fauna, Ouro Kronii, Nanashi Mumei, and Hakos Baelz each revealed new kimono-themed outfits.

Why Hololive EN Gen 2 members all got new kimono outfits?

It’s a tradition in Japan to go to shrines in the first days after new years, most notably by wearing a kimono. Though many Japanese people just don’t do it every year anymore . At least speaking from what some of my friends said.

This tradition, Hatsumode, is why many social games / gacha games have Events in new years with characters wearing kimono. And Hololive is now pretty much doing the same thing as it decided this is the perfect chance to reveal new kimono outfit for all the members of The Council.
