As Sony introduces a whole new subscription system, some of the exclusive and popular titles are made available to try out for free for a few hours. Games including Horizon Forbidden West and Cyberpunk 2077 are now available for ps plus deluxe subscribers as a free trial for 5 hours.

In a recent tweet by PS VORTEX Podcast, it can be seen that both Horizon Forbidden West and Cyberpunk 2077 are available as a trial for 5 hours to the Deluxe tier subscribers. This is a great move by Sony to let players experience the game content before they decide to purchase. However, the trial feature is strictly available for the Deluxe tier subscriptions.

Speaking of subscriptions, Sony has been making some significant changes starting this month. The plan was announced a few months back and is slowly rolling out in different regions. If you want to know more about the latest PS subscription features, check out the link below.

Deluxe tier subscribers can also try out games such as Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves & WWE 2K22 but for only 2 hours apart from the two games mentioned. At the moment, we are not sure if the PS Plus Deluxe free trial restricts the number of times you can play the game, but the game lets you play all the entire content available.

In addition, the progress made during the trial period will count in if you make a complete purchase later. As all of the games that are under the trial period require more than 24 hours to complete. This includes the story progress as well as Trophies earned.

We expect Sony to regularly update the trial games list often to allow players to check the game content before spending money. So keep an eye on our page as we will update you with more information on Sony’s new PS Plus Deluxe free trial and the new subscription system as and when we get to learn more.
