Horizon Zero Dawn’s Aloy Looks Stunning in This Vibrant Fan Art
Check out Inna Vjuzhanina's beautiful fan art piece of the machine hunter herself - Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn.
As any PS4 player will tell you, Horizon Zero Dawn is an incredible game and thankfully, PC players will soon get their chance to experience it, too. Horizon Zero Dawn is set to launch on August 7 and recently, some gameplay footage has been released showcasing the beautiful world where Aloy and the machines co-exist. As with any game that exudes beauty, artists from all over the world want to highlight this through their artwork and today is no different. Meet Inna Vjuzhanina who captures the very essence of Aloy in this wonderful piece of art.
Inna, a freelance artist for a number of years from Ukraine, mostly paints fantasy pieces but this time we see her taking on Aloy – a Nora Brave, Seeker, and machine hunter of unparalleled skill. The use of colors in Inna’s painting is honestly breathtaking and how she is able to utilize them so they come together without clashing or fading another color out. I particularly love how Aloy’s trademark freckles are dotted across her cheek while also complimenting her luscious, long auburn hair that blows out from behind Aloy like long flames of fire.
Inna’s immaculate attention to detail is what gives this painting its charm. Not only has Aloy’s braids been added, but also her emerald green eyes and those always inquisitive arched eyebrows, too. The care that has gone into Aloy’s Nora Brave outfit is pretty amazing also as we notice each fold, crease, and the multitude of different textures within the materials that adds a sense of realness to this painting. What really stands out in an electric blue hue is Aloy’s Focus on her ear in which she found after accidentally falling down a hole into a ruin of the Old Ones, a place forbidden for Nora to enter. The Focus allows Aloy to learn information about machines, track movement, patrol routes, and detect important objects.
For anyone who is a fan of Horizon Zero Dawn, this amazing painting would turn any wall into something pretty incredible. Luckily for you, you can purchase a copy for yourself by heading out to Inna’s store. There’s a limited edition print or an open edition print to scoop up and you’ll find that each print will be signed and numbered by the Inna herself for that added personal touch. You may also find yourself picking up a couple of other prints once you see Inna’s other pieces of artwork. There are some pretty bad-ass prints of Jill Valentine from Resident Evil, Ser Brienne of Tarth from Game of Thrones, Yennefer from Netflix’s The Witcher, and even some old school Lara Croft. You would be hard pushed to not find something you’ll love.
As a big fan of Horizon Zero Dawn, I was thrilled to hear that more people would get to experience Aloy’s adventures for themselves. Many of us love a good board game too so when board game makers Steamforged Games launched the Kickstarter campaign for its upcoming Horizon Zero Dawn: The Board Game, I couldn’t be happier. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, it has been put on hold for now but hopefully, everything will be up and running as soon as possible because, I for one, would love to get my hands on it.
If you haven’t had the chance to play Horizon Zero Dawn yet and I’d recommend you do, the game is available now on the PS4 and then August 7 on PC. If you haven’t played it yet and want to know a bit more, you can check out DualShockers’ review.
