Released back in February as a PS4-exclusive, Guerrilla Games’ long-awaited Horizon: Zero Dawn quickly became one of the most acclaimed games of the year thanks to its astonishing visuals and deep open-world gameplay, with those who have yet to dive into the epic adventure getting another chance in December.

Sony has announced through its PlayStation Europe branch that Horizon: Zero Dawn will be getting a “Complete Edition” release on December 5th, 2017 in North America and December 6th, 2017 in Europe, which will include the base game and the upcoming “The Frozen Wilds” expansion on one disc: the expansion itself will arrive one month before on November 7th, 2017 as a download. The “Complete Edition” of the game will run for $49.99, and will also feature all of the additional content from the game’s “Digital Deluxe Edition” back when it launched.

As we touched on in our original review of Horizon: Zero Dawn, which earned one of our rare 10.0 scores, our own executive news editor Giuseppe Nelva praised Horizon‘s deep world and rich gameplay, especially coming from Killzone developer Guerrilla Games:

Horizon Zero Dawn is an absolutely fantastic game. It’s very polished, and comes with a compelling story, relatable characters, an absolutely fascinating setting, and top-notch gameplay. On top of that, its visuals will make you wonder if Santa secretly sneaked into your room to replace your PS4 with a gaming PC while you were asleep. It simply looks that good.”

Horizon: Zero Dawn – Complete Edition will release for PS4 in December – in the meantime, you can check out a glimpse of the new edition’s box art below:
