It's becoming increasingly rare for a game, especially a AAA game, to not ship alongside a day one patch. Sony and Guerrilla Games' Horizon: Zero Dawn, is no exception to the rule. However, it's day one update is quite the small one, weighing in only at 250 MB.

The update is set to add new PS4 Pro-specific options to the menu, which will be aimed at tweaking the visual experience. The update will also come packing an option to select resolution and SDR/HDR preferences. You will be able to access these options by jumping over to the menu and then heading to Settings > Visual.

"Horizon Zero dawn will receive a small day zero patch that will build upon PlayStation 4 Pro support, adding a Performance mode which will favor smoother framerates while delivering higher visual fidelity in the 1080p mode. This mode is available for both 4K and 1080p displays."

Horizon: Zero Dawn is set to launch on February 28, 2017 in North America and on March 1st in Europe. Expect the DualShocker's review of the game soon.
