Guerrilla Games’ new RPG Horizon: Zero Dawn has been received with high praise from several directions, and today a rather interesting voice joined choir.

Taking the Twitter stage is John Carpenter, who is well known for having envisioned dark futures with films like Escape from New York, and director of cult classics like Halloween, Starman, Big Trouble in Little China and The Thing.

Carpenter praised the game’s visuals and addictive gameplay, on top of its “epic vision of the future,” which makes the its small flaws pale.

Incidentally, we definitely agree, as you probably know if you happened to read our full review of the game.

Horizon Zero Dawn
is currently available exclusively for PS4.
