Namco Bandai has been pretty hush-hush about the localization process of Tales of Graces f - we haven't heard anything about the game since October, when a walkthrough video was released into the wild. The company that did the localization for the game, 8-4 Ltd., however, has let the world know that that process is complete in a recent podcast. Knowing what they know, the game may come out as soon as January or February 2012. Keep in mind this is not an official statement from Namdai, nor should it be considered confirmation in any way of the game's release time frame.

Releasing in February would put it right together with Tales of the Abyss 3D, which has a Valentine's Day release date, so possibly the games could be promoted together and they would bolster each other's sales. Although, to be fair, Tales of Graces f is a PS3-exclusive title, and Tales of the Abyss 3D is 3DS only; the demographics don't mix that well. Still, wouldn't it be nice to get our hands on the first original Tales game to release outside Japan in over three years in only a month or two? Yes, indeed it would. Keep your fingers crossed that JRPG fans can jump straight from FFXIII-2 into Tales of Graces f.
