Director Josef Fares needs no introduction. Known for his outspoken and honest attitude, not to mention his "F**k the Oscars" speech during Geoff Keighley’s Game Awards in 2017, Fares – head of Hazelight Studios and director of It Takes Two and A Way Out –  has recently opened up to Gamingbolt about the studio's next co-op adventure and how long it will take players to complete the game. If you enjoyed A Way Out, it seems that this time you'll have an even meatier gaming experience.

Talking about It Takes Two's run-time, Fares says that it will take players around 14-15 hours to complete it with lots of little mini-games scattered throughout. For gamers who love nothing more than to pick up a range of collectibles, unfortunately, there won't be any but players can look forward to a range of other interesting things that they can interact with, and in Fares' own words "you’ll have a lot of fun discovering that weird s**t."

“I would say between 14-15 hours. There’s a lot to discover. No collectibles and s**t. That’s not something we want. So instead of you go around, you can interact with stuff. "Fares continues."You will have lots of minigames, like 25 minigames spread out in the world they can play around, side content and s**t. We want the world to be alive, so you’ll have a lot of fun discovering that weird s**t. There’s a lot of secrets as well, I hope people find them. They’re going to love it.”

When A Way Out launched in 2018, players were able to complete the game in around 6-7 hours so it seems that this time fans of Hazelight Studios can look forward to a lot more variety. Since it's also a co-op adventure, the time spent with another player within the game should make the experience a more interesting place to want to be.

It Takes Two is set to be released on March 26 for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC.
