Guardians of the Galaxy is the brand new game from Eidos-Montreal that is exclusively single-player focused, which will have people asking how many chapters are in the game.

It is pretty rare that you come across an actual fully single-player AAA game these days, as many games have some sort of multiplayer in them.

This is especially nice to see after the disappointment that was last year's Marvel's Avengers game that really should have focused more on the single-player aspect than the multiplayer.

How Many Chapters Are in Guardians of the Galaxy?

Guardians of the Galaxy gives you control of Star-Lord and his team of misfits in an action-packed adventure that is split into a number of chapters. Be mindful that there will be some spoilers ahead, though we won't ruin any actual story surprises.

From the Quarantine Zone to Lomentis and beyond, there are many different locales for you to explore across the different chapters in the game.

The chapter splits sometimes occur when on the same planet, while other times they come when traveling between locations and such. The length of each of them varies in length, though there really aren't any chapters that would be considered overly short.

Guardians of the Galaxy makes you think that there are 15 chapters in the game, as this will bring you to the credits in the game. However, there is an additional chapter as well that pops up and serves as a bit of an epilogue to the game while still continuing the same story.

As a result, that means there are 16 total chapters in Guardians of the Galaxy for you to enjoy in your playthrough.

How Long Is The Game?

As stated above, Guardians of the Galaxy is made up of 16 different chapters of varying length. When putting all of them together though, this will add up to somewhere between probably 16-18 hours.

This obviously will depend on the type of player and how long they are spending to find collectibles and if they are getting stuck at any point of the game.

Guardians of the Galaxy is a very linear game for the most part though, so that length should be fairly standard across most players.
