For that, you need to lure the boss up to a cliff. After that, you need to just come down the cliff and the boss will follow you. After a while, it eventually falls from the cliff dealing massive amount of fall damage. Basically, you could take out the boss in two such attempts, one for each phase. While it was a pretty easy way to take him out, unfortunately, after the patch, it doesn't work anymore.

However, if you are looking for a new way to cheese the boss, thankfully, fans have figured out that as well. For this cheese, you will need a few items. First of all, you need the Ashes of War Sepukku. If you don't have it, you can check our guide here to learn more about obtaining it. Thankfully, it is super easy to obtain and doesn't require defeating any bosses as such. Along with that, you need the pulley crossbow.
With those items with you, you can now take on the Fire Giant. Enter the boss area and then then you need to jump off the cliff towards the entrance to basically get out of the arena. You can check out the video above to get a better idea about how to pull this off. From there, take a right turn. On top of the cliff, you basically need to perform Seppuku, and then keep shooting the Fire Giant with the crossbow. Also, dodge the AOE attacks, as they will still hit you. You will see that you are dealing blood loss to the boss, and he will be down in no time.
