Every Holiday Glaceon Weakness In Pokemon GO

Similar to our previous raid guide for Druddigon, Holiday Glaceon is pretty easy to strategize for based on the fact that it only has one typing, Ice.

Due to being an Ice type, Holiday Glaceon is super weak to Fire, Steel, Fighting, and Rock type moves, which gives you a good range of types to choose from. In addition, it is resistant to Ice type moves, so you will absolutely want to avoid those.

How To Beat Holiday Glaceon – Raid Guide and Best Counters

Holiday Glaceon will be found in tier 3 level raids during the entire Pokemon Go Winter Holiday 2021 event that lasts for just over two weeks.

As a tier 3 raid, Holiday Glaceon really shouldn’t give you too much trouble as long as you are prepared. In fact, you really should be able to take down Holiday Glaceon solo. However, having extra help is never a bad thing to get more balls to throw at the end of the raid.

As for counters to use against Holiday Glaceon, we are going to throw out some good Pokemon choices and possible moves to use. We are going to be sticking to standard forms of these Pokemon, but any of these that have Mega forms or you have a solid Shadow version of will always be preferable as well.

Your top tier choice here is definitely going to be Charizard with Fire Spin and Blast Burn, but you can also settle for Chandelure with Fire Spin and Overheat for pure Fire type moves.

You can also mix in Pokemon like Magmortar with Karate Chop as a fast move and Fire Blast as a charged or Reshiram with Fire Fang as a fast move and Stone Edge as a charged as well.

Steel types can also be quite effective, with Metagross being the top option with Bullet Punch and Flash Cannon leading the way. You can also use Lucario with Bullet Punch, while Aura Sphere is the Fighting type charged attack.

You can also mix in other Fighting types like Machamp with Counter and Close Combat or an array of other standard Fire types with strictly Fire moves to be very effective as well.

By picking some Pokemon like this, you shouldn’t have too much trouble and should be able to have a chance at catching Holiday Glaceon, which will be available in Shiny form as well during this event in Pokemon GO.
