While Mega Pokemon are still a controversial topic within Pokemon GO, they can be incredibly useful for both filling the Mega 'Dex and for helping in raid battles.

Most recently, players had the opportunity to battle and earn Mega Candy for Mega Gengar, one of the best Mega Pokemon in the game.

Now, following that, as part of the "Ghoulish Pals" section of Pokemon GO's Halloween event, players can encounter the debuting Mega Absol.

As you would expect, it will be appearing in Mega Raids. So, to help you beat Mega Absol, here is our raid guide, including all of its weaknesses and the Pokemon you should be bringing with you.

Every Mega Absol Weakness in Pokemon GO

Mega Absol has only a single type in Pokemon GO, and that type is Dark. This gives it a total of three different weaknesses and three different resistances.

The weaknesses you should try and exploit to beat Mega Absol are Bug, Fairy and Fighting, while avoiding its Dark, Ghost and Psychic resistances.
