Pokemon GO: How to Beat Sierra July 2021 - Gliscor and Kingdra Weakness and Counters

By Sam Woods

July 6, 2021

Another month is here and along with it, the return of Team GO Rocket in Pokemon GO.

After beating six grunts, it’s time to face up against one of the gang’s leaders, Sierra, Arlo or Cliff, each with a vastly different set of Pokemon.

This time out, it looks like Sierra is likely to cause players the most trouble during head-to-head battles.

So, with that in mind, here’s how to beat Sierra in July 2021.

Best Team Composition

While there’s never a hard and fast “best team” to beat Sierra in July, you can still prep logically.

I would personally start with Conkeldurr who offers the best coverage against Sneasel then Houndoom later on.

I’d also bring Groudon which offers great coverage against Ampharos, Drapion and once again, Houndoom

Finally, I’d consider Galarian Darmanitan:

  • Conkeldurr
  • Groudon
  • Galarian Darmanitan
