The bugged part of Diallos quest in Elden Ring was fixed with the most recent update of the game, and you can now finish the NPCs questline by finding him at Jarburg.

Earlier today, FromSoftware launched a brand new update across all platforms, applying balance changes to weapons, incantations, shields, and magic attacks while fixing numerous bugs and adding new content to some NPCs.

Hopefully, Diallos was among the NPCs that received new missions, and you can now finish his questline without worrying about his bugged disappearance.

How to Complete Diallos Quest in Elden Ring

Let's start from the very beginning. Diallos is one of the NPCs that you meet him at the Roundtable Hold for the first time. After talking to him a few times, you will find him in the Lirunian of the Lakes standing next to the corpse of his servant at the south of the Raya Lucaria entrance, just before you reach the guards. He is one of the many platforms in Academy Gate Town.

After talking to him about his servant, you will be able to meet him at Roundtable Hold once again. Talk to him a few times. The next stop is Volcano Manor. You should head to Mt. Gelmir, find the Volcano Manor building, talk to Tanith and accept to join the Volcano Manor group. After that, you will receive a key that opens a few doors at Volcano Manor, including a room inside which you can find Diallos.

Talk to him a few times, but his questline will not be progressed until you do all the tasks you are given by Tanith at Volcano Manor. After finishing the Volcano questline, you will be able to meet Diallos at Jarburg in Liurnia of the Lakes, but before you should first meet Jar-Bairn. Speak with Jar-Bairn, and then go and rest at a Site of Grace, and then walk back and talk to him again. Repeat this cycle until you find Diallos in Jarburg as well. (Jarburg is located just at the southeast of Carian Study Hall in Liurnia of the Lakes).

Talk to Diallos a few times and let time pass. You can do it by resting and skipping time. After a while, when you get back to Jarburg, you will notice that the village has been raided, while Diallos is wounded. Talk to Diallos and Jar-Bairn. Now, you should let the time pass. After some time, get back to Diallos's location and you will find his corpse with all his armament left to be picked up by you.
