EA will be rolling the Battlefield 2042 Beta in multiple phases. Obviously, like other games, players who have bought the game already will be getting some benefits. If you have pre-ordered the game already, you will be getting access to the Battlefield 2042 Beta on October 6 at the following timings.

  • 12:00 am PT
  • 03:00 am ET
  • 08:00 pm BST
  • 02:00 pm CT

If you haven't pre-ordered the game, you can still get access to the beta if you are an EA Play subscriber. Moreover, players who own Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will also be getting access to this phase of the Beta, as EA Play is included with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

For players who don't wish to pre-order the game and don't have EA Play or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions, they might need to wait slightly longer, but EA still has something for them.

The Open Beta will be kicking off on October 8th, and everyone will be able to participate in the Open Beta irrespective of their pre-order or subscription status. There is a slight catch here though. Xbox players need Live Gold Membership to take part in the Beta. On the contrary, PlayStation players can enjoy it without subscribing to PS Plus.
